i set the camera up often on a rock, or even ground level!!then put it on self timer, i take quite a few shots then pick the best. i'm getting used to how far away to stand/sit etc...
i only take a few shots during the day, i try not to take too many otherwise its hard to decide what to use! i dont plan in advance really, i just try to select a shot that reflects something about the day (if that makes sense)
do you do these with a time-release and tripod?
